We are so thankful that someone is continuing the Bodo Hennig legacy of manufacturing the most beautifully made unfinished doll house furniture in the world! However, from time to time, some items have been and will be discontinued. We try to keep this web site up to date with the latest availability of all the Bodo Hennig items. Our suggestion is for you to order what you would like and if it is not sent right away, it will be put on back order and we will keep track of it. The beautiful heirloom quality furniture and accessories used in Scottie's Bavarian Doll Haus with Decorated Furniture Book were made by the Bodo Hennig Company in Germany and are now made by the NIC Company. Many pieces of the traditional miniature German furniture and accessories are working replicas of the real thing! They are a part of the cultural history of Germany, a mirror of the adult's world, and as such create a strong feeling of nostalgia for an era gone by. 

The raw wood furniture is fully assembled (not a kit), made of solid hard maple (not soft pine). It is cut by computerized equipment (each piece is as perfect as possible) and needs no preliminary sanding. The hardware on the Schränke (wardrobes/armoires) and chests is cast pewter. 

This is the finest unfinished miniature furniture in the world! The scale is 1:10 (metric system) and therefore only slightly larger than 1:12 (the U.S. standard). However, the scale is in keeping with the slightly larger size of real German furniture! Therefore, if you are using an American doll house instead of The Meier Haus (Scottie's doll house), you might need slightly more space to fit in all of the German furniture and accessories that you desire to use. Bodo Hennig miniatures are heirlooms the world over. Fun for all generations -- to play with and to collect!

Note: All furniture for sale is unpainted (raw wood). The book teaches you how to paint it! The painted pieces shown on this website are only samples to show how they would look decorated.
