The doll house shell is 30" high x 27" wide x 16" deep. The scale is 1:12 (standard US scale) with four rooms on three floors. It is front-opening for easy play/display. The front is completely removable and could also be hung on the wall for display. It is held onto the house with magnets.

The furniture and accessories shown in the book are no longer being made by German manufacturers. If you are interested in buying any of the furniture or accessories in the Classic line, I received an email from Kristen T. who suggested trying this web site and commented: "I ordered my furniture from this site and these folks were extremely helpful." www.jojotoy.com/toy-brands/bodo-hennig/index.html  In addition to this idea, my suggestion is to look around in miniature shops, eBay and search the web for any stock that still might be available. Look at it as a treasure hunt - when you find a piece it will be so exciting! Also, there are probably other miniature furniture brands made in other countries that would work as well.
